Discover the story of Greenisland Parish
Our church celebrated its 70th birthday in September 2024. We celebrated in style, with a street party, a food festival and an epic Anniversary service. It was a perfect birthday. But then…
Later that night, disaster struck. A fire, starting at the bins, spread with devastating speed through the whole building. The church roof and the whole Parish Centre were destroyed.
But thanks to our amazing neighbours, we were surrounded with support and generosity. All of our events and services now happen in various venues throughout Greenisland, and we have been made to feel at home. And with our faith undimmed, we are starting on an exciting season of rebuilding.
We meet on the last Friday of every month at 6pm for a Prayer Walk around the church
